Altun Alem Musjid
Altun Alem Musjid
- The Altun-Alem Musjid is one of the most famous of the Ottoman sacred edifices and is situated in an enclosed area that also includes a religious school. It was built by a famous master builder Abdul Gani in the first half of the 16th century. It has a dome and a spacious porch covered with cupolas, which was not a characteristic of these parts. The interior consists of a nicely shaped niche (mihrab) and a wooden gallery (mahvil).
- This renovated Musjid (named after a miracle-working gemstone) was built in the mid-16th century and is one of the oldest Islamic buildings surviving in Serbia.
