  • The Al Khatam (Ring) well is situated west of Masjid Quba. It was named as such because it is at this well that the ring of the Prophet ﷺ fell from the hand of Uthman RA during his rule as Khalif. This incident, as prophecised by the Messenger ﷺ, led to much turbulence within the ummah (nation).
  • This is also the place where the Prophet ﷺ gave Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan the glad tidings of Paradise.
  • The well is also known as the ‘Al Aris’ and ‘Al Nabi’ well.
