Grave of two Ottoman Soldiers

Here lies Ottoman Spahims; Mehmed and Hasan, who participated in the battle of the siege of Vienna in 1683 and were camerated prisoners of war by Hannoverian troops in the cigerdelen location on the coast of the Dubine. accompanied by Welfen Prince Georg Ludwig, they were taken to the Hannover palace. They served in this palace until they died in 1691. They were buried according to Islamic procedures. This inscription is dedicated to the honorable memory of them and all of the Ottoman Turkish soldiers who lies under these lands.
There rest the bones of two Ottoman federal riders (Sipahi), Hammet and Hasan, who went into Hannover prisoner of war a few days after the relief of seiged Vienna in 1683 near Parkany on the Donau. They came to the court in Hannover in the following of the Welf Prince Georg Ludwig, where they served until their death in 1691. They were buried according to Muslim rite.
This inscription is in them dignificent memory and all other Ottoman Turkish soldiers who rest under this earth.
