  • Also known as the Musjid of Banu Salamah, Musjid Al Qiblatayn was built in year 2AH by the Companion Suwad Ibn Ghanam Al Ansari RA.
  • Musjid Al Qiblatayn is historically significant to Muslims as it is here where the Prophet ﷺ received revelation to change the direction of the qiblah from Bayt Al Maqdis in Jerusalem, towards the Noble Ka’bah in Makkah. Hence the Musjid was named, Musjid Al Qiblatayn (The Musjid of two qiblahs).
  • It is situated approximately 4km from Musjid Al Nabawi. Having undergone reconstruction, repairs and renovations, it is now a large, spacious Musjid known for its bright white paint, two domes and two minarets. It is currently able to accommodate about 2000
