  • The King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an is a printing plant located in Madinah. It was established in 1984 by king Fahd, the king of Saudi Arabia at the time.

  • The company publishes the Qur’an in Arabic and many other languages. About 10 million copies a year are printed, and since 1985, the complex has produced over 128million copies of the Qur’an. The first copy of the Qur’an printed from this company was handwritten by the Syrian calligrapher, Uthman Taha. This copy is famously known as the ‘Mushaf Al Madinah’. 
  • One may also find at the factory ancient manuscripts of the Qur’an dating back to as early as the 3rd century.
