MUSJID AL JINN

Musjid Al Jinn is a Musjid in Makkah located near the Jannat Al Mua’lla cemetery, on the Musjid Al Haram Road.
Many incidents have been mentioned about this uniquely named Musjid. The most famous of the accounts states that it was on this spot that the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ recited the Quran to a tribe of Jinn, who thereafter embraced Islam.
The Musjid underwent a few renovations with the last one having a more modern architectural design.
In the past, the city’s guards would patrol up to the location of the Musjid and the Musjid is therefore also known as the Musjid of Guards.
