  • Musjid Al Jinn is a Musjid in Makkah located near the Jannat Al Mua’lla cemetery, on the Musjid Al Haram Road.
  • Many incidents have been mentioned about this uniquely named Musjid. The most famous of the accounts states that it was on this spot that the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ recited the Quran to a tribe of Jinn, who thereafter embraced Islam.
  • The Musjid underwent a few renovations with the last one having a more modern architectural design.
  • In the past, the city’s guards would patrol up to the location of the Musjid and the Musjid is therefore also known as the Musjid of Guards.
