THE MOUNTAIN OF MERCY

The Mountain of Mercy is a chain of little mounds located in Arafah on the route between Makkah and Taif. Known as Jabal Al-Rahma in Arabic, it is one of the most famous mountains in Makkah and is frequently visited by groups of visitors to Makkah.
It is the site where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stood when delivering his last sermon during his Farewell Pilgrimage. During Haj, many pilgrims eagerly await a chance to stand on this spot for their supplications.
The mountain is also known by the names Mount Al Tawba (Repentance) and Mount Al-Duaa (Supplication).
