How to get here:

Just a 13 minute drive from the Jinnah International airport in Karachi, the museum is easily reachable. The museum is located on Dr Ziauddin Ahmed road in the New Chali District. Alternatively, if you don’t mind a bit of a walk, then a bus is available at the airport which will take you within a 1.5km distance from the museum.

  • Ḡūṭa is the countryside area that surrounds the city of Damascus along its eastern and southern rim.
  • Abu al-Darda RA related that Muhammad SAW said: “Indeed the place of refuge for the Muslims on the day of massacre [during the fitnah of Dajjal etc.] is in Ḡūṭa, near a city called Damascus, (which is) from the best of the cities of Sham.”
